stopsign

We all feel at some point in our lives drunk with information, overflowing with ideas and thoughts that take us in so many different directions. It feels as if we where wearing some heavy steel jacket that doesn’t fit us and keeps pulling us down.

This is usually what happens when we are not being creative, when we lost ourselves somewhere down in the rat race and we are too busy making someone else’s dreams happen. If you feel you have lost complete sense of your essences as a person and what compels you to strive for a more meaningful and fulfilling life, then you must stop! And get naked with yourself.

One of the most powerful ways to do this is by journaling. Regardless at what stage in your life you are today. If you are reading this is probably because you want more from life, and it is probably not a bigger house or a nicer car what you are looking for. What you truly want is to get to the core of who you wish to become and how you wish to stand in this world. You probably have all the nice materials possessions you strived for or probably already lost them all, or haven’t had the chance to enjoy them yet. That is not what brought you here today. What brought you here is your desire to change, to create a life that is yours and unique.

Go out there and buy yourself a journal and start flushing your mind of thoughts and words, don’t worry about spelling or making sense, even scribbling is allow. Just get naked with yourself. No one is watching. Explore. Get curious about your feelings, thoughts and words.  Draw pictures if you have no words to describe what you’re feeling, if you can’t draw cut pictures from magazines to express yourself. Do this for at least one month every day for 20-30 minutes and you will see that clarity will come to mind. You will have less thoughts going in different directions. You will start getting insights from God on what it is you are being called forth on. Life will start having a new meaning, new ideas will come to mind, you will be able to see things from a different perspective, you will feel more energize and cleansed from the inside out.

While doing this, if you feel the process is really getting to the bottom of something or you have found something of your essence that you lost many years ago and are not sure how to move forward and keep building on it, ask for help! Call me and share with me your journaling experience. I can guarantee you, it will be a great way to jump-start your new journey in life from the core of yourself.
