It is hard to describe with words how my heart has felt for the last 48 hours, as I watched the news and waited to hear back from family and love ones in my country. I have received so many messages from people wishing that all my love ones are safe. I can’t thank them enough for their concern.
I woke up Saturday morning to the terrible news. My heart shrunk, it was hard for me to identify the intensity of the catastrophe, as the hours past, it became clear that we were facing, once again this year, a terrible event with devastating results for many, specially those among the poorest communities.
As a humanity, we are all affected when events like this struck anyplace of our planet, even if it is not our home country. Our world is changing, accommodating to a new way of existence. New priorities, are being force on many. Take the time to reflect, to re-connect with your spirit. I can’t emphasize enough the importance of taking the time to re-consider what really matters in your life.
